Image Converter One

Though its name might make you think it's only a photo converter, Image Converter One is actually also a photo resizer and image watermarking tool.

This powerful tool can convert photos among the most popular image file formats, like BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIF, TGA, WBMP, PCX, WMF, and more. Additionally, it can resize selected images by a predefined height or width. Last but not least, it can also add watermarks to images and change their orientation (rotate them). Rotating images is, unfortunately, a bit unintuitive, as it's combined with a simplistic cropping function. As for the rest, the tool is simple and easy to use. Even though the interface looks seriously outdated and dull, it's also straightforward and will surely pose no problems even to beginners.

I also like about this handy tool the fact that it can batch process multiple images at the same time. Furthermore, the quality of the output images is great. Image Converter One will also preserve the EXIF information from the original photos in the resulting images.

To sum it all up, the only thing that truly disappoints me about Image Converter One is its look, as for the rest, this app is neat, handy, and effective. Best of all, it's also free.
